Kimi ni Todoke, one of the most popular romantic anime and manga franchises of all time, is receiving a live-action series, and Netflix has given fans the first peek at what to anticipate from this new version with the first trailer and poster for From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke!
Karuho Shiina’s original manga series is one of the most successful franchises to have come out of Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret magazine, and it still reigns supreme even after the original run ended in 2017. It already spawned an anime and a live-action feature film, and now it’s getting its own Netflix series.
From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke will premiere on Netflix on March 30th worldwide as a collaboration between TV Tokyo and Netflix. This new series will be many fans’ first introduction to the romance franchise, and many more will soon understand why it’s still regarded as one of the finest by fans.
