With Gojo sealed in the Prison Realm, and Megumi and Itadori fighting to save everyone, Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen actually has all of us wrapped in its fingers. Don’t we all just miss the days when we were laughing about how silly Gojo is around his students? Well, this chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen will get you all in your feels as it reminisces on the bond that Gojo and Megumi had years ago.

A little refresher, Gojo is actually the guardian of Megumi Fushiguro ever since his father vanished (more like killed, but let’s not spoil the season before it airs), and ever since then, fans have looked at their dynamic fondly and even compare it with a father and son duo, which is pretty much accurate.

Jujutsu Kaisen is now entering the main conflict of the Culling Game arc, and the latest chapter of the series is helping to show off more of Megumi Fushiguro and Satoru Gojo’s father-and-son like bond with a flashback revealing a new side of the duo. Megumi is taking center stage in the Culling Game arc, as he, Yuji Itadori, and the others have been fighting in the deadly tournament to save his sister. But, as things heat up, it appears that we’ll be seeing more of Megumi’s inner workings.

With the previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen preparing Megumi, Yuji, and their new team of fighters for the next phase of the Culling Game, the latest chapter revealed that Megumi and Hana Kurusu have a much deeper connection than expected. They met when they were both children, and fans got to see even more of Megumi’s close bond with Gojo in this journey into the past.

According to Chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Megumi and his Divine Dog once helped to save Hana from a terrible situation in which she was trapped as a child. Fans immediately noticed that the young Megumi was being accompanied by Gojo on a normal walk. It’s not the most detailed flashback the two have ever had, but it does demonstrate that they have a much deeper connection.

What do you think about Megumi and Gojo’s father-son duo? Do you think there’s any chance we’re going to see it again?
