Warning: Beyond this paragraph is a spoiler for the anime, read at your own risk!
In the recent episodes of the One Piece anime, we see all the Straw Hats Battling in Wano, and though the battle has been going on for a while, the real battle has not officially begun. As many fans who have already read the manga know, there is one character that has not been introduced yet in the anime, and that figure plays a crucial role in the land of Wano. The character is none other than Kozuki Momonosuke, the Shogun of Wano, but in his adult form!

The key figure is to be played by Hiro Shimono (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s Zenitsu, Attack on Titan’s Conny), according to the anime’s official website. The adult version of the character will make his first appearance in episode 1047, which aired on January 15.
Honestly, the actor is the perfect person to play Adult Momo! Little Momo was fun, cheerful, and whiny, and those characteristics don’t change at all for Adult Momo, and Hiro Shimono obviously already has those characteristics mastered! From his role as the whiny Zenitsu, to his role as playful but strong Conny, he definitely is the right person to play the part.
