After weeks of back-to-back epic battles in the One Piece anime, TOEI animation has officially announced that the Anime will be delayed and will take a 2-week break, promising fans it will be back on the 19th of March for a new episode.
With its newest slate of episodes, One Piece’s anime has officially started off the climax of the Wano Country arc, but fans will have to wait a little longer for the next episode of the series as the anime has been slapped with a surprise delay! The conflict throughout Onigashima is now more serious than ever, with the final battles of the war taking place. Luffy and Kaido have begun their third and final round on the roof of the Skull Dome, and the rest of the island’s battles are currently being organized.
The newest episodes of One Piece have seen the final big battles of the war either settle or begin, making each new episode of the series all the more difficult to wait for. That will be true during the wait for the following episode since the promo for One Piece Episode 1054 also indicated that the anime will be taking a two-week sabbatical worldwide. That is, it will not be released until much later in March, on Saturday, March 19th.
Following a two-week vacation, One Piece Episode 1054 will show on March 19th in Japan. The promo, titled “Death to Your Partner! Killer’s Deadly Gamble!” teases the next major fight seen in the next episode as follows, “Killer is cornered by a crafty trap! The Kid is dying, consumed by a spell!”
As the promo suggests, we’ll see more of Killer and Kid’s clashes around Onigashima, and they are only two of the last fights being built up before Luffy fights Kaido on the roof of the Skull dome. There may be a lengthier wait before we see the next episode of the anime, but it’s apparent that when it all kicks back, it’ll be all action.
More One Piece fights will be coming your way very soon! And the most awaited awakening will finally be happening!
