One Piece fans, we know you aren’t fully convinced to watch the Live Action yet, but the newly released posters look promising!
Eiichiro Oda’s hit manga and anime One Piece just revealed the first poster for its Netflix live-action adaptation. If you haven’t been keeping up with the news (which honestly is a surprise), One Piece is licensed to have a live-action adaptation under the streaming company, Netflix.
On Monday, the fans were surprised when the official Twitter account of the One Piece live-action anime tweeted a picture of Luffy (played by Iñaki Godoy) facing a beautiful sunset. Along with the tweet was a scenic picture of the Original Five (Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, and Nami) before they set sail to the Grand Line.

One Piece is one of the world’s most popular anime shows, as well as one of the longest-running anime series, with over 1,000 episodes. It follows Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat pirates, in their quest for the treasure known as One Piece.
The news was announced to the fans almost two years ago, and the cast was revealed just last year. Along with the announcement of the live-action also came the announcement of the cast of the upcoming adaptation, and you’d be pleased to find that the cast actually resembles the characters by a lot.
Here’s the list of the cast announced for One Piece’s live-action so far:

The upcoming series will supposedly adapt the first arc of the original manga and anime, Romance Dawn. Further details about the premiere are yet to be announced.
