Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece has introduced numerous characters to fans in the last twenty-five years. Many of these characters are recurring characters of the series, meaning, they appear every now and then, and their relevance to the plot cannot be overlooked.
The relevance of a character to the plot includes both male and female characters, of course, and fans simp over them nonetheless. However, a recent poll released in Japan revealed the Top 10 Most Handsome characters as voted by Japanese Fans of the One Piece series. The one who’s at Number 1 definitely deserves the spot!
Here are the Top 10 Most Handsome Characters of the One Piece series.
10. Smoker

Daddy? Sorry- Daddy? Smoker is a recurring foe of Luffy ever since his debut in Loguetown. Following the treachery of his previous boss Vergo, Smoker the White Hunter is a Marine officer and the Commander of the G-5 Marine Base. He was initially presented as a captain in Loguetown when he set out to capture Luffy and was later raised to the rank of commodore as a result of the events in Arabasta. He was promoted to vice admiral at some point during the time skip. With that outfit and that body, he definitely deserves a spot on this list.

9. Dracule Mihawk

The pattern… is slowly showing itself. Dracule “Hawk Eyes” Mihawk is a world-renowned pirate and the “Strongest Swordsman in the World.” Until the group’s collapse, he was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the first unveiled and fully presented. Previously, Mihawk was known as the “Marine Hunter,” and he was a rival of Shanks, one of the Four Emperors.
8. Sanji

Oh please, like those curly eyes and princely personality doesn’t get to you too? “Black Leg” Sanji, also known as Vinsmoke Sanji, is the Straw Hat Pirates’ cook and one of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet’s Senior Officers. He is the crew’s fifth member and the fourth to join at the end of the Baratie Arc.

7. Corazon

Corazon is such an underrated character, it’s surprising to even see him on this list, but it does not mean he doesn’t deserve his spot. Donquixote Rosinante, the second son of Donquixote Homing and the younger brother of Donquixote Doflamingo, was a World Noble of the Donquixote Family heritage. Rosinante became an Elite Officer of the Donquixote Pirates (and a disguised marine commander, serving Doflamingo under the nickname Corazon.
6. Monkey D. Luffy

Monkey D. Luffy is the full package. He is strong, he has good looks, and he even has a great personality. The only downside to this all-rounder is that you’d go broke feeding him. Monkey D. Luffy, often known as “Straw Hat Luffy” and simply “Straw Hat,” is the main character of the manga and anime One Piece. He is the founder and captain of the increasingly infamous and powerful Straw Hat Pirates, as well as one of their top fighters. He wishes to find the legendary treasure left behind by the late Gol D. Roger and thus become the Pirate King, which would help facilitate an unknown dream of his that he has only told his brothers and crew about.

5. Shanks

Ask the magic mirror “Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who’s the daddy-est of them all?” the answer would probably be Shanks. “Red-Haired” Shanks is the leader of the Red Hair Pirates and one of the New World’s Four Emperors. Shanks had sailed with the Roger Pirates since he was a child, beginning his pirate career as an apprentice with Buggy before founding his own company after Roger’s death. Even after One Piece Film Red, everybody’s still pretty excited about where his character is heading and why the series gained more questions than it did answers.
4. Sabo

The mighty wielder of the Mera-Mera No Mi after Ace. With his gentle demeanor and calmness (definitely the calmest and most composed of the three siblings), Sabo’s a really good catch! “Flame Emperor” Sabo is the Revolutionary Army’s chief of staff, ranked second in the organization only to Supreme Commander Monkey D. Dragon. He is also the sworn brother of the infamous pirates Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace.

3. Portgas D. Ace

Ooh, finally in the Top 3. Have you seen your faves yet? Coming in hot (and cold) is Luffy’s other older brother, the previous Mera-Mera No Mi user, Portgas D. Ace. He was known as Fire Fist Ace the sworn older brother of Luffy and Sabo, as well as the biological son of the late Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, and Portgas D. Rouge. Ace was adopted by Monkey D. Garp, as Roger had desired before his execution. Ace was the Whitebeard Pirates’ second division commander and a former captain of the Spade Pirates.
2. Trafalgar D. Water Law

Thought you wouldn’t see him? Surprise, surprise. After the time skip and his very very pleasant glow-up, Law deserves his spot as this list’s number 2. Trafalgar D. Water Law, also known as Trafalgar Law and the “Surgeon of Death,” is a pirate from North Blue and the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates. He is one of twelve pirates known as the “Worst Generation.” During the time skip, he became one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, but his rank was revoked for allying with the Straw Hat Pirates. Law, like many other pirates, wishes to find One Piece while also learning the meaning of the Will of D.
1. Roronoa Zoro

You had that one coming, of course, it’s Zoro. Also, Sanji would be pissed if he knew, so let’s keep that a secret. Roronoa Zoro, commonly known as “Pirate Hunter” Zoro, is a Straw Hat Pirates combatant, one of their two swordsmen, and one of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet’s Senior Officers. He is the second member of Luffy’s crew and the first to join it, joining during the Romance Dawn Arc. Zoro is one of the Straw Hats’ three strong combatants, with Luffy and Sanji, as a master of Three Sword Style, a swordsmanship style he developed during his youth training in Shimotsuki Village.
Whew, that’s it. The list is actually pretty accurate, but it’s still debatable (Like why is Eustass Kidd not on this list??) most of the fandom would probably agree with the list, do you agree with it?
