One-Punch Man Chapter 171 is on a one-month delay. In an announcement Thursday, Illustrator Yusuke Murata broke the news to fans. The series will return with a new arc.
The new release date for Chapter 171 has yet to be announced. We expect it to release sometime after September 18, given the length of the delay.
Meanwhile, Chapter 170, titled What Was Gained, released earlier Thursday. In other breaking One-Punch Man news, Yusuke Murata retweeted a confirmation that One-Punch Man Season 3 is officially greenlit!

Season 3 of One-Punch Man is now confirmed. No release date has been announced. Watch the season 2 announcement trailer here.
One-Punch Man can be read legally online through the Viz Media store. The three most recent chapters are available for free. There is currently a three-chapter lag time between Japanese and English releases.
The shonen parody series was created by One as a free webcomic in 2009. It was re-launched in 2012 with new illustrations by Yusuke Murata and serialized in Tonari no Young Jump. So far 26 volumes of the manga have been published.
The series was adapted into an anime in October 2015 with direction by Shingo Natsume at Madhouse. One-Punch Man Season 1 aired on TV Tokyo with a simulcast in North America by Hulu. Season 2 finished airing on July 2, 2019.
