One-Punch Man is one of the most consistent manga series. The hit superhero doesn’t miss thanks to illustrator Yusuke Murata. Saitama has established his track record over and again with few breaks to stop him, but even the most tenacious artist needs a rest now and then. As a result, One-Punch Man has announced a last-minute hiatus, with Murata set to return with a new release next month.
The artist himself provided the information, informing followers of the pause through Twitter. The artist has been unwell since the beginning of May, forcing him to postpone the next chapter of One-Punch Man until June.
Check out the announcement and its corresponding translation here:
Thank you for waiting. This week’s One-Punch Man chapter will be delayed. Sorry for the late notice! I was sick since the start of last month, but thanks to your support, I have recovered a lot. I will draw the manuscript again, so please wait for a bit longer
Yusuke Murata
As you might expect, One-Punch Man readers wished Murata the best because nothing is more terrible than a lengthy sickness. Murata appears to be on the mend, so maybe he will be able to return to work shortly. Because of the delay, One-Punch Man will not have any new content this month, but Saitama will have a new chapter in June 2023.
This future release will undoubtedly be significant. After all, Murata has recently begun a new arc in the manga that web-comic readers are familiar with. One-Punch Man is finally prepared to face the so-called Neo Heroes, as two new characters have recently made their comic debut.
If you haven’t been keeping up with One-Punch Man, you can do so now thanks to Viz Media. The manga’s English distribution is overseen by the publisher, so you may find the One-Punch Man manga in shops or online via the Shonen Jump app. Seasons one and two of One-Punch Man are currently available to watch on Crunchyroll and Hulu. Recently, sources indicated that One-Punch Man season 3 is in the works, but no date has been set for the big return.
Let’s all wish the creator well in hopes that we will see Saitama and the gang very soon!
