The first trailer of upcoming dark-fantasy anime Ragna Crimson is finally here, and it’s worth the hype! The official website of the anime unveiled the promotional video on Friday, Nov 18, revealing main staff and cast information for the show. A new teaser visual was also released.

Ken Takahashi (Butlers x Battlers) shall direct the anime, while Deco Akao (Arakawa Under the Bridge, Noragami) will handle the scripts. Shinpei Aoki (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya franchise) will serve as the character designer.
The main cast of the series include Chiaki Kobayashi as Ragna, Ayumu Murase as Crimson, and Inori Minase as Leonica.
SILVER LINK was previously announced to be animating the series.
Launched in 2017, Ragna Crimson started as a manga written by Daiki Kobayashi. Square Enix Manga & Books, the publisher of the manga, describes the story as follows:
Dragon hunters: warriors armed with special silver weapons who kill their prey for bounty. Lowest among their ranks is Ragna, who forms an improbable partnership with the young genius Leonica, a master dragon slayer with more kills to her name than almost any other. All Ragna wants is to stay by Leonica’s side, but his dream is shattered by an attack from the deadliest dragon imaginable…
The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2023. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series.
