Kousuke Hamada’s dark fantasy manga Re Cervin will be having a hiatus until its return in March 2023. The specific reasons for this break are not disclosed, as well as the exact date in March will it return. Kousuke Hamada is known for being the author of Hanebado! manga series that got adapted into an anime in 2018.
Re Cervin serialized on Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits seinen magazine in January 8, 2022. The paperback version of the 1st volume is scheduled to release in March 30, 2023 by Shogakukan.
Re Cervin Synopsis
A powerful dragon summoned by Contrano has brought destruction in the kingdom of Helentar. This led to Princess Arsinoe Grancamano of Helentar to make a pact with a deity, Sent Fauna, to get rid of the dragon. In exchange, Arsinoe has to sacrifice one of her most precious memories – all of which included her father.
Arsinoe fell into a coma after this pact, and has been hidden away in a village. She later found out her mother died due to the attack on Helentar, and she fell into despair. She then met a mysterious man who claimed to be her father, King Cervin.
Despite the uncertainty, Arsinoe and Cervin worked together to exact revenge against Contrano.

Hanebado! Background
Kousuke Hamada serialized the Hanebado! manga series on Kodansha’s anthology magazine, good! Afternoon from June 7, 2013 to October 7, 2019. There have been 16 volumes published. It tells the story of reviving Kitakomachi High School badminton team’s dedication and vigor. The former Olympic athlete, Coach Kentarou Tachibana paired reluctant talented players: the moody Nagisa Aragaki and Ayano Hanesaki who hates badminton. It was discovered that Nagisa had grown bitter of her loss to Ayano in the National Junior Tournament six months prior. Now, the two girls will have to set aside their differences in order to work together.
The manga inspired a spin-off light novel, Shousetsu Hanebado! that was written by Tadahito Mochizuki and illustrated by Kousuke Hamada in June 2018. It only has 1 volume and 6 chapters. The story is set prior to the events of the manga.
The anime of Hanebado! is produced by LIDENFILMS and aired from July 2 to October 1, 2018. It has a total of 13 episodes.
