The author of Romantic Killer, Wataru Momose, will release a new manga titled Boku to Jingi Naki Ojisan (Me and the Old Man Without Honor and Humanity) on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ service on December 3rd, according to the 52nd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine published on Monday. Every Saturday, the manga will be updated.
The comedy manga “handsome man and honor student boy” is about an elementary school boy named Yto who is house-sitting one day when a man named Aoi from the floor above him comes to Yto. Despite his calm demeanor, this man conceals a shocking secret.
Momose debuted the Romantic Killer manga on Shonen Jump+ in July 2019 and will conclude it in June 2020. In September 2020, Shueisha released the fourth and final compilation book volume. The manga will be published in English by Viz Media.
The manga spawned a Netflix anime series, which premiered on October 27.
Romantic Killer is a new romantic-comedy anime on Netflix. It came out as one of the many Fall Animes of the year.
Romantic Killer is about the life of Hoshino Anzu and how her Otaku life suddenly turned into a life filled with romance and “chance” interactions. Anzu grew up as a gamer. Ever since she was young, she was already used to playing with boys her age, but unlike girls who squeal about their crushes and make themselves pretty, Anzu had no regard for romance or beauty. All she needed in life are three things: Games, Chocolates, and her cat, Momohiki.
One Faithful (rather, unlucky) morning, Anzu encounters a magic wizard, but instead of granting her three wishes, the wizard takes away three of the most important things in her life instead and replaces them with, drum roll, handsome guys (or ikemens). This is where Anzu’s once peaceful life turns into a rollercoaster filled with romance.
