The mystery manga, Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective, will be receiving an anime adaptation! The first teaser, key visual, and the staff members are also shared. Diomedéa serves as the animation production studio. Shouta Ibata will be the director, while Wataru Watari will be overlooking the series composition. Masakazu Ishikawa is the character designer, while Yo Tsuji is credited for being the music producer.
Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective Synopsis
Totomaru Isshiki always wanted to solve murders and help people. However, he lacked the skills needed for his position in the investigation team of the Metropolitan Police Department. Hence, he decided to reach out to the enigmatic Ron Kamonohashi for help. Ron used to be a promising detective who graduated from the prestigious Detective Training Academy Blue, but he became a recluse with reasons unknown.
Totomaru met a rather disheveled Ron who did not even show interest or willingness. Eventually, after flipping a dime, Ron found himself figuring out a serial murder case. As the two work together, Totomaru eventually discovered Ron’s reasons for shutting himself out. Is Totomaru the answer to make Ron emerge from the dark? Will Ron return to becoming an active and reliable detective he once was destined to be?

The teaser showed snippets of the anime by introducing the mysterious recluse, Ron Kamonohashi, who has commendable detective abilities. He is analyzing a murder case, all the while sporting a rather unkempt appearance.
Then, Totomaru Isshiki is a detective who seemed uncertain because of his lack of skills. He is the one who will ask Ron for help to fulfill his goal of solving cases.

Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective Manga Background
Akira Amano is the author and illustrator of Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective manga. It started serialization on Shueisha’s Shounen Jump+, which is an online magazine on October 2020. The 1st volume got published as a paperback and e-book in February 2021. As of November 2022, there are now 8 volumes, with the 9th volume arriving in January 2023.
The manga is also getting published in English digitally on Shueisha’s MangaPlus. Its chapter updates are on the same schedule as its Japanese release.
