About Shinmai Ossan Bōkensha, Saikyō Party ni Shinu Hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru
Shinmai Ossan Bōkensha, Saikyō Party ni Shinu Hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru started as a light novel series written by Kiraku Kishima and illustrated by Tea. It was first serialized on the user-generated light novel publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou! (Let’s Become Novelists!). It was moved to the Kakuyomu website in June 2018. Hobby Japan later acquired the title and published twelve volumes under their HJ Novels imprint since December 2018. A manga adaption illustrated by Ken Ogino has been serialized online via Hobby Japan’s Comic Fire website since November 2019.
The story revolves around a guild clerk named Rick Gladiator who hopes to be an adventurer. Normally, the best way to become an adventurer is to start at a young age because it takes training to gain magical powers. Rick, on the other hand, started after he turned 30. Luckily for Rick, he has worked with the illustrious Orichalcum Fist, a renowned party comprised of the mightiest adventurers. He had already experienced an extraordinary life blessed with unparalleled combat prowess. His abilities were honed under the masters who are literally “Monster-class”, from dragons to vampires.
