Good news! Adventure anime Spy Classroom is getting a second season, and it’s set to premiere in July this year! The announcement was made by the staff of the series on Friday. A teaser video and a teaser visual for the second season were also released.

Launched as a light novel series, Spy Classroom was written by Takemachi and illustrated by tomari. It was published in January 2020. A manga adaptation by Kaname Seu followed in May 2020.
Yen Press, the English publisher of the light novel and manga, describes the story as follows:
Following a devastating military conflict, countries fight their wars in the shadows. One unusual spy, Klaus, has never failed on the job despite his quirks, and he is building a team to take on an Impossible Mission—one with over a 90 percent chance of failure. However, his chosen members are all washouts with no practical experience. They’ll have to use every trick in the book (and some that aren’t) to prove they’re up to the task!
The first season of the TV anime of Spy Classroom premiered on January 5 this year. Keiichirou Kawaguchi (Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou/Sotsu) directed the series at Studio feel. Shinichi Inozume (Platinum End) handled the series’ script, Sumie Kinoshita (Idoly Pride) worked as the character designer.
