Now is not the time to be sad about not seeing cute little Anya, because the Forgers from Spy x Family will be back next year for a new season and an anime film! That’s right, both Season 2 and the movie, all in a year!
The SPY x FAMILY anime will get a second season and a theatrical picture in 2023, according to the announcement made at the Jump Festa ’23 event on Sunday. The film will be an entirely new work with an entirely new story. Tatsuya End, the creator of the original manga, is credited with the original work and character designs for the film, and will also supervise it. Endo created a drawing to honor the film’s announcement.

The first half of the first season premiered on April 9. Crunchyroll is streaming the first half as it airs, as well as an English dub. The second half of the anime debuted in Japan on October 1, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.
Tatsuya Endo’s original manga is being published in English by Viz Media, and it describes the story:
Master spy Twilight is the best at what he does when it comes to going undercover on dangerous missions in the name of a better world. But when he receives the ultimate impossible assignment—get married and have a kid—he may finally be in over his head!
Not one to depend on others, Twilight has his work cut out for him procuring both a wife and a child for his mission to infiltrate an elite private school. What he doesn’t know is that the wife he’s chosen is an assassin and the child he’s adopted is a telepath!
Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service is simulpublishing the manga in English. In September 2019, Viz Media added the manga to its app as part of its Shonen Jump subscription. The manga is also being printed by the corporation.
The manga will be adapted into a theatrical musical in March-May 2023.
