Is anyone else missing some Spy x Family action or is it just us? Oh, but fret not, because Tatsuya Endo, the creator of the original manga recently drew Anya’s most epic expression yet!
We all know how Anya Forger, one of the main protagonists of the hit anime series Spy x Family, has her way with facial expressions. In fact, they’re so good, even the fans are ecstatic to see them appear in the manga and even in the anime!
With Spy x Family wrapping up the anime’s 2nd cour last Fall, fans already miss the energetic and cute pink-haired daughter of the Forger family! That is why Tatsuya Endo took to Twitter to sketch an epic and wild expression of Anya, which, at this moment, we’re not really sure if it’s because she failed yet another exam, or if her nemesis, Damian Desmond, made her cry about something else, but whatever it was, the situation must have been dreadful!

Surprise, Surprise, the new Anya expression really isn’t canon, but it was for a personal reason. Tatsuya Endo, the creator of the Spy x Family series, began 2023 with some bad news, despite the franchise’s success. Endo decided to “honor” the news by reflecting the creator’s sadness with Anya’s wildest expression yet shared with fans on Twitter after Akimoto Manatsu from Nogizaka46 (one of Endo’s favorite pop groups overseas, which the creator has shared love for on Twitter in the past) announced that she was graduating from the group and moving on.
Despite a rough start, Spy x Family actually has a big year coming up! The franchise and its streaming and animation company will definitely have a packed year as the series just announced a movie and a new season right after the 2nd cour ended! So technically, we won’t be missing the Forgers as much as we thought we would, which is a great thing!
