Spy x Family has truly cemented its fame in the anime world as of late. It even received a stage musical adaptation being produced by Toho Company Limited! The cast, debut date, and ticketing information were also revealed.
The stage musical is set to debut in March 8, 2023 in Imperial Theatre located in Tokyo, Japan. It will have its run until March 29 with the 13:00 (1:00) PM and 18:00 (6:00) PM time slots. Take note that there are also non-performance days, which can be seen in the schedule. All of these will be subject to change as well. The official Twitter account and website will be announcing such changes.
The stage musical is also set to have a nationwide tour by April 2023 in Hyogo Performing Arts Center and KOBELCO Main Hall. By May 2023, it will be in Hakata-za Theatre.
General selling of tickets will start by December 24, 2022 on online outlets. Pre-lottery and first-come-first served tickets can be availed at earlier dates. Check out the stage musical’s official website for more information.
The cast was also revealed to have double actors. The visuals for the actors playing Loid and Yor Forger were released.
Loid Forger


Win Morisaki and Hiroki Suzuki will play as Loid Forger. Morisaki was also a member of a J-pop idol boy group, PrizmaX.
Yor Forger


Fuka Yuzuki and Mirei Sasaki will play as Yor Forger. Sasaki is also a member of a J-pop idol girl group, Hinatazaka46.
Other cast members include:
- Raimu Okamiya and Tsubasa Takizawa as Yuri Briar
- Nonoka Yamaguchi as Fiona Frost
- Kento Kiuchi as Franky Franklin
- Soma Suzuki as Henry Henderson
- Asaka Manato as Sylvia Sherwood
The child actor for Anya will be announced soon as the auditions were finished.
G2 will be the director of the musical, while Shuhei Kamimura will be in-charge of the music composition and arrangement.
Spy x Family Anime Background
The Spy x Family anime series has aired its first season last April 9 to June 25, 2022. It is a joint animation production of Wit Studio and CloverWorks.
The second season will arrive in October 1, 23:00 (11:00) PM in select Japanese broadcast channels and on online streaming sites such as Netflix, Crunchyroll, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and many others.
Recently, it has streamed the opening theme song, “Souvenir” by BUMP OF CHICKEN.

The video featured the Forger family: Loid, Yor, Anya, and a new pet. It mostly features Yor and Anya, so it seems it was mostly taken from Loid’s perspective. At the same time, both Loid and Yor fulfill their secret occupations: being a spy and assassin respectively.
