New Anya Illustration ahead!
Spy x Family has a promising future. The television series by CloverWorks and Wit was able to become the biggest anime on streaming sites in Japan last year, with the first season of the anime going to the top of new anime adaptations in 2022. The anime adaption has even surpassed Chainsaw Man and Demon Slayer. With author Tatusya Endo’s strong online presence, the mangaka took advantage of a recent modification to their Twitter account to make a funny remark.
If you have noticed, Twitter has made major changes over the past week with regards to its verified accounts. The blue checkmarks of old have been modified in recent days as a result of Elon Musk’s ownership of Twitter. The advent of “gold checkmarks,” which are often for corporations and/or organizations, has been a significant development.
Because the Spy x Family author has a Twitter account, it appears that Tatsuya Endo has gotten a gold checkmark, despite the fact that the manga artist is not an organization. Endo is expected to offer more original art for his series, which has become a prominent figure in the anime industry, as 2023 prepares to witness both Spy x Family Season 2 and the franchise’s first feature-length film.

Upon discovering that his account has gained the infamous gold checkmark, Endo immediately took to Twitter expressing his amusement through a new Spy x Family, well, particularly Anya Forger illustration. It was a cute and hilarious way of showing his reaction to the changes in the app.
Tatusya Endo debuted Spy x Family in Shonen Jump in 2019. The manga series has now issued eleven volumes and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. With plenty of moments to pull from when season 2 arrives later this year, anticipate the Forger Family’s present goal to hit a few speed bumps along the road.
