The official website for the television anime based on Kazuha Kishimoto’s light novel series, Summoned to Another World… Again?! (Isekai Shōkan wa Nidome Desu) has unveiled the second promotional video and key visual for the show. This sneak peek also includes a preview of the opening theme song. Excitingly, the anime is set to premiere on April 8th!

Isekai Shōkan wa Nidome Desu (Summoned to Another World… Again?!) anime series premieres April 8th on the “Animazing!!!” programming block on Asahi Broadcasting Corporation TV, TV Asahi, and 22 other stations, as well as on BS11.
In case you missed it, the protagonist Setsu in the anime Isekai Shōkan wa Nidome Desu (Summoned to Another World… Again?!) will be played by Shunichi Toki. The rest of the cast includes several talented actors, though the official romanizations of their character names have not been confirmed yet.

The anime series is directed by Motoki Nakanishi, who previously worked on Kaguya-sama: Love is War Ultra Romantic episodes, while the series scripts are supervised by Yukihito. Mikako Kunii, known for her work on Date A Live IV episodes, is designing the characters.

Exciting news for fans of Isekai Shōkan wa Nidome Desu! The opening theme song “Continue Distortion” is being performed by S.S.NiRVERGE∀, while the ending theme song “Be ambitious!!!” is being performed by idol group Maybe Me.
Plot
The novels and manga revolve around a male protagonist who was summoned to an alternate realm to serve as a warrior, where he successfully saved the world and gained immense popularity. He has since been living a peaceful life as an ordinary person in this new world until an unexpected turn of events lands him back in his original world as a helpless infant. Growing up to attend high school, he is once again summoned back to the other world, where he must face new challenges and navigate his way through unfamiliar territory.
Publication History and Adaptations
Kishimoto first published the novel series on the “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” website in 2015. The main series wrapped up in 2016, but Kishimoto continued to write several epilogue chapters until October 2020.
Futabasha released the first print novel volume with illustrations by Shimahara in October 2015, and the final volume in July 2017.
In July 2018, Arashiyama launched a manga adaptation of the series on Futabasha’s Web Comic Action site, which is still ongoing with eight volumes released to date. The ninth volume is scheduled for publication on March 30. Coolmic is the English digital publisher for the manga, which is titled Summoned to Another World… Again?!.
