What is Surgeon Elise about?
Surgeon Elise has a unique story where the main character dies as a villainess, reincarnates on Earth as Jihyun Song, grows up to become a surgeon, and dies again to return to her previous life before her engagement to the crown prince. After returning as Elise de Clorance again, Elise decides that she no longer wishes to be engaged to the crown prince much to the surprise of her father and the Emperor. She implores to have the engagement canceled and expresses her wish to become a surgeon. The Emperor makes a bet with her to accomplish something more valuable than becoming the future Empress before she becomes an adult (which is within the next 6 months). So starts Elise’s journey to becoming a doctor and canceling her engagement with the crown prince.
