The official website for Techonoroid Overmind – the tv anime part of Noriyasu Agematsu, RUCCA, and Elements Garden’s Technoroid multimedia project – announced that the anime will premiere on January 4.
The anime is set to air on TV Tokyo and TV Osaka, and will be available to stream on several platforms in Japan including Abema, DMM TV, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, d Anime Store, more.
The anime was postponed from July to August due to its production firm, Doga Kobo, being temporarily closed in April due to sudden increase in the number of staff members diagnosed with COVID-19.

Technoroid Overmind’s story of “wretched, beautiful androids” takes place on the entertainment tower called Babel, which serves as humanity’s new source of hope after climate change has buried the earth beneath the waves. Several distinct musical units compete to reach the top of Babel by moving both human and robot hearts with their performances.
