The team behind That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime made two announcements on Friday. The first is that there will be a “grand finale screening” of the Scarlet Bond anime film on February 19th, and the second is that they will announce a “new project” during that screening.
In attendance of the grand finale will be Miho Okazaki (Rimuru), Chikahiro Kobayashi (Ranga), Miyu Tomita (Viore), and producer Shinro Sugimoto to meet the audience. Immediately following will be a presentation of a new “Tensura project” as well as an update on Season 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime.
The grand finale screening will take place at Shinjuku Piccadilly Cinema in Tokyo on February 19th at 10:00 AM.
The creators of the film also revealed it has been watched by over a million people and has ticket receipts for over 1.3 billion Yen, which comes out to about $10 million USD.

The following statements were made in celebration of the finale screening of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond on the official movie website:
It was my first experience producing a movie and I spent a lot of time on it, but I feel rewarded that so many people came to see the movie.
As the author of the original story, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

I am surprised at the amazing number of 1 million.
If it were a manga, I would have seen it twice and my eyeballs would have popped out.
To those who have seen it and to those who are thinking of seeing it, thank you so very much!
I am only a comic book artist, so I can praise the achievements of my people without reservation.
To everyone involved in the theater version, thank you for finishing a good thing.
Congratulations on the one million mobilization.
I’m going to watch it one more time too.
Yasuki Kawakami (original manga creator), translation by Anime Dork
