In a new promotional video released on the official website for Nana Mikoshiba’s The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World (Hyōken no Majustsu ga Sekai wo Suberu – Sekai Saikyō no Majustushi de Ary Shōnen wa Majutsu Gakuin ni Nyūgaku Suru) tv anime teased the series’ ending song “Loudhaler” by Maaya Uchida and revealed additional cast members.
The previously announced main cast members of the anime are:
Junya Enoki as Ray White.

Iori Saeki as Amelia Rose.

Nana Harumura as Elisa Griffith.

Additional cast members include:
Azumi Waki as Rebecca Bradley.

Kaede Hondo as Clarisse Cleveland.

Akira Sekine as Ariane Olgren.

Atsumi Tanezaki as Lydia Ainsworth.

Nanako Mori As Abby Garnet.

Maaya Uchida as Carol Caroline.

Yuichiro Umehara as Evi Armstrong.

Masahito Takata (High-Rise Invasion, Ganbare! Odenkun) is directing the anime, supervising the series scripts, and directing the sound at Cloud Hearts. The characters are designed by Makoto Shimojima (Kingdom).
Ayumi Kojima (Studio Recess) is the art director, Natsumi Uchida is the photography compositing director. The music is written by Natsumi Tabuchi (Aggretsuko, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, The Quintessential Quintuplets). The animation is being produced under the supervision of Yokohama Animation Lab. The anime will premiere in January.
The manga was licensed by Kodansha USA Publishing, who describes the plot as follows:
The Arnold Academy of Magic is a school for the elite…and Ray White is just your ordinary guy. In fact, he doesn’t seem particularly skilled with magic at all, and is a bit of a klutz. Which is why he has nothing to do with the rumor that one of the great magicians, the Iceblade Sorcerer, is a member of the incoming class…right?

The Iceblade Sorcere Shall Rule the World, written by Nana Mikoshiba, first appeared on the user-generated publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou! (Let’s Become Novelists!) on October 25, 2019. The series was later acquired by Kodansha, who began publishing the novels with illustrations by Riko Korie on July 2, 2020 under their Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint.
