Yoruhashi’s Kingdom of Ruin manga will be adapted for a TV anime series this year. To celebrate the announcement, Yorushashi shared a commemorative illustration on Twitter. A key visual for the upcoming anime was also released on the series’ official website. Information about the date of release is yet to be announced.

Azumi Waki (Tokyo Revengers, Orbital Children, Blend S) as Doroka

The manga was licensed by Seven Seas, who will release the 6th volume in English on May 16. Seven Seas describes the plot as:
Humanity long lived in harmony with witches, but an advanced scientific revolution has made the powers of a witch unnecessary. Succumbing to resentment and fear, the greatest nation in the world begins a brutal witch hunt and eliminates all witches from the land. After being forced to watch his beloved teacher die, Adonis, a witch’s apprentice, swears revenge on the empire that took everything away from him. It’s a bloody battle between science and magic in this thrilling new manga series!
The Kingdoms of Ruin started as a manga series written and illustrated by yoruhashi. It began serialization on Mag Garden’s shōnen manga magazine Monthly Comic Garden on April 15, 2019. Additionally, it is serialized on the Manga Doa, Mag Comi, pixiv Comic websites. There are seven tankōbon volumes available as of September 2022. Seven Seas Entertainment revealed in April 2020 that they have licensed the series for English release.
