Former Admiral Aokiji was the first Admiral to get introduced in the series, and he certainly did a great job establishing how powerful the Marine Admirals are! His devil fruit, called the Hie Hie no Mi,grants him the power to create, control, and transform into ice.
Given such power, Aokiji can freeze anything and anyone from mere physical touch, effectively converting them into frozen statutes in a matter of seconds. This ability to freeze anything expands to cover even giant sea beasts and tsunamis. He can also mold, shape, and control ice-made weapons, like spears, ice balls, and even ice pheasants!
10. Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix (User: Marco The Phoenix)

The entire Paramount War is among the most unforgettable and adrenaline-inducing arcs in One Piece, and the revelation of Marco’s devil fruit power definitely played a key role in adding up to the hype. Called the Tori Tori no Mi, this devil fruit grants its user the ability to transform into the mythological phoenix.
When transforming, Marco’s body parts take on the form of blue flames, making him intangible and nearly invincible against any attack. True to its name, the devil fruit also grants him resurrecting abilities as its flames come with healing effects, enabling the user to heal any injury and regenerate rapidly. Scheming, strong, and ambitious, she was no doubt the strongest woman in the sea! And her unique devil fruit just adds up to her terrifying character. Called Soru Soru no Mi, Big Mom’s devil fruit grants her the ability to drag out, manipulate, and comand souls at her will.
With the said devil fruit, she can easily reduce or take away completely a person’s lifespan, pull out a person’s soul straight from his body, and even infuse any soul to any object. Using such ability, she was able to create a team of monsters using a portion of her own soul to act as her living weapons: Zeus, Prometheus, and Napoleon.
However, while Big Mom’s devil fruit power comes off as disturbingly overpowered, it has a set of weaknesses. For one, in order to grab one’s soul, such person must be in her immediate vicinity. And second, the same person must be scared of her (even the slightest ounce of fear is deadly!).

7. Pika Pika No Mi (User: Admiral Kizaru)

What’s faster than light? Nothing! And that makes Admiral Kizaru among the most dangerous opponents out there! His devil fruit, Pika Pika no Mi, allows him to create, control, and even take on the form of light!
So far, he was able to show he can shoot laser beams straight from his arms and legs, shape weapons like sword using light, and ultimately move at the speed of light. This effectively allows him to evade almost every attack against him! With all these things considered, we can’t help but get excited about what more we could see from him in the coming chapters ahead!
6. Magu Magu no Mi (User: Fleet Admiral Akainu)

A power than could burn fire itself – that’s how powerful the Magu Magu no Mi is. Described as the devil fruit with the highest offensive capabilities, the Magu Magu no Mi is a logia-type that enables its user to create, manipulate, and even transform into magma. It was consumed by no less than Akainu himself, the top Marine officer to date.
Given its very nature, the user of Magu Magu no Mi is almost invincible and even adaptable to any environment. Like magma, it can melt ice, consume normal fire, and burn even the ocean. Among the skills displayed by Akainu during the paramount war include the ability to launch magma fists reminiscent of a volcano eruption or meteor shower, turn his body parts into magma and launch direct attacks to burn enemies, melt nearby weapons, and walk through waters by creating lava.
5. Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu (User: Kaido)

The revelation of Kaido’s devil fruit power is among the most highly-anticipated moments in One Piece – and Eiichiro Oda made sure the long wait was worth it! The moment Kaido’s power was revealed, everyone couldn’t help but gasp in astonishment and awe. His devil fruit, called Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu, allows him to transform into a real dragon!
Similar to all other Zoan-type of devil fruits, the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu helps significantly upgrade Kaido’s physical abilities. Once he transforms, he become so big he can effortlessly crash anything and anyone by simply brushing through them or launching mere tail swipes against them. He can also fly through the clouds, lift an entire island without effort, and, of course, control a number of elements. He is able to breathe out fire blasts, launch lighting bolts through his roars, and blow out tornadoes and sharp winds.

4. Ope Ope no Mi (User: Trafalgar D. Law)

The devil fruit of Trafalgar D. Law is definitely one full of suprises! Called the “Ultimate Devil Fruit,” the Ope Ope no Mi allows its user to create a sphere called “ROOM” and perform any surgery on any object or person trapped within the said sphere. In effect, the user may slice, teleport, and control such object or person so long as the same is within the coverage of the ROOM he created.
Using the said power, Law can amputate or slice anything within the sphere without leaving wounds, teleport objects, and even swap people’s souls. He can also pierce a sword through one’s body and create shock waves from within to destroy their organs. However, despite all these amazing abilities, what really gave the fruit the title “The Ultimate Devil Fruit” is its ability to bestow immortality upon another person by conducting the so-called Immortality Operation. As for its drawback, however, the user will die after performing the operation.
3: Gura Gura no Mi (User: Edward “Whitebeard” Newgate)

It might have been years since the Paramount War aired, but legendary pirate Whitebeard remains to hold a special place in viewers’ memories. His devil fruit ability, described to be “the power that could destroy the world” is definitely among the most overpowered abilities we have seen in the series as it allows a person to generate massive vibrations.
With such power, Whitebeard was able to create earthquakes to generate tsunamis, grab and tilt lands, create vibrations in the air to deliver shock waves, concentrate vibrations around his fist when delivering a punch, and even focus vibrations on his enemy’s body parts to crush them.
2. Yami Yami no Mi (User: Marshal “Blackbeard” D. Teach)

Hate him or love him, it’s no denying that Blackbeard’s devil fruit is absolutely fearsome! Named the Yami Yami no Mi, this terrifying devil fruit grants its eater the power to control and turn into darkness.
With the said ability, its user can, in turn, suck and devour anything and anyone near him – similar to a black hole. He can also amplify the gravitational force and pull anything toward him. To make it even worse, the devil fruit also enables its user to nullify powers of other Devil Fruit users by draining their abilities.
To date, much is yet to be learned about the true power and extent of Yami Yami no Mi. It is also still unclear whether Blackbeard’s ability to steal other people’s devil fruit power is connected to Yami Yami no Mi. Nevertheless, the presence of such questions make this mysterious devil fruit even more appalling.
1. Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika (User: Monkey D. Luffy)

Creator Eiichiro Oda surely saved the best devil fruit to no less than the main protagonist, Luffy. It wasn’t long since the true name of Luffy’s devil fruit power has been unveiled and many questions are yet to be revealed about the true extent of Hito Hito no Mi’s power. Yet what is clear for now is that the World Government dreads this devil fruit, even to the point of masking its existence by deliberately misbranding it as Gomu Gomu no Mi. According to the latest manga chapters, the Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika actually belongs to the Mythical Zoan category and allows its user to transform into the mythical Sun God, Nika, who is believed to have a direct relation to the Void Century.
To date, the true identity of the Sun God remains enshrouded in mystery. Although latest chapters reveal he somewhat embodies liberation or freedom. As a result, the user of the Hito Hito no Mi Model: Nika enjoys the highest degree of freedom by acquiring a kind of power that is only limited by his imagination.
