Get ready for the comeback of the iconic identical quintuplets in a brand-new series! “The Quintessential Quintuplets Special Event 2023” announced on Saturday that a new anime is currently on the works to adapt Negi Haruba’s hit manga,The Quintessential Quintuplets (Gotōbun no Hanayome). The upcoming show is said to cover stories in the manga that have not yet appeared in the previous anime.

Launched in August 2017, The Quintessential Quintuplets by Negi Haruba first appeared on Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine. The manga series lasted for almost three years, with its final chapter released in February 2020.
The manga inspired a TV anime in January 2019, which aired for 12 episodes. A second season followed in January 2021.
Crunchyroll is streaming all episodes of the anime. It describes the plot as follows:
Uesugi Fuutarou, a high school second-year from a poor family, receives a highly appealing offer to work part-time as a tutor… but his students turn out to be girls from his own class! What’s more, they’re quintuplets… and all five are beautiful, but happen to be problem students who have borderline grades and hate studying! Looks like his first assignment will be to win all the sisters’ trust?! Every day is a wild party in this rom-com centering around the quintuplet sisters of the Nakano household!
