The Seven Deadly Sins‘ main run may have ended, but that doesn’t mean the series is over. After all, the IP lives on through a new cast of heroes, which will be brought to life soon by Netflix. An anime adaptation of The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse has already been ordered. And, if a new rumor is correct, the series will be handled by an entirely new studio.
The information comes from social media, where fan pages such as Sugoi LITE have been teasing an update for fans of The Seven Deadly Sins. According to rumors, the series’ next anime will be produced by Telecom Animation Film. But for the time being, we’ll have to wait for official confirmation of the tease.

Of course, if correct, this would be a significant change. When it comes to animation studios, The Seven Deadly Sins has had a difficult time. The show debuted under A-1 Pictures, and its first two seasons were handled admirably before critics began to question the show’s art. Most recently, Studio Deen attempted to tackle the TV anime genre with impossibly bad animation.
Even the fans had a lot to say about how the animation of the latest season went, and needless to say, they weren’t very happy. Marvel Jack and Alfred Imageworks are the most recent studios to work on The Seven Deadly Sins. The pair collaborated on the anime’s most recent film, so it appears that the TV series is due for a studio change.
If you haven’t seen The Seven Deadly Sins yet, you’ll want to catch up before seeing this upcoming sequel. The anime is only available on Netflix in the United States, so you can watch it there. And, of course, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will soon join the ranks!
