Big news for Tokyo Revengers fans who have been waiting patiently for something new to drop. On Monday, the full promotional trailer and the second key graphic for the Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown, the sequel of the Tokyo Revengers anime were revealed in the live-streamed “TV Anime Tokyo Revengers Halloween Special 2022!!.” More cast members were announced in both the special and the promotional video.

The promotional video for the sequel anime of Tokyo revengers revealed two new cast members. The first on the list is Mikaku Komatsu who has played the role of Maki Zenin from the hit TV Anime adaptation of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen. She will be playing Yuzuha Shiba, a new member of the Toman Gang, and Takemichi’s possible love interest aside from Hina. Another cast member is Tomokazu Sugita, known for his role as Taro Kabakura from Wotaku ni Koi Wa Muzukashii (Love is hard for an Otaku), Tomokazu is set to play Taiju Shiba in the Tokyo Revengers : Christmas Showdown Anime.


The anime will air on MBS, TV Tokyo, and AT-X beginning in January.
In April 2021, the first television anime adaption based on Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga debuted. Crunchyroll broadcast the anime live as it aired in Japan.
In March 2017, Wakui published the comic in Weekly Shonen Magazine. Kodansha released the manga’s 29th compiled book volume on August 17, and the 30th volume will be released on November 17. The manga will likely conclude in three chapters on November 16.

In July 2021, a live-action picture was released in Japan and became the number one live-action film in the country. The sequel will be released in two parts in spring and summer 2023.
