Fantastic news for Uma Musume Pretty Derby anime fans! It will be receiving a 3rd season, confirmed by a teaser video!
This was announced during the event of Uma Musume Pretty Derby – which is the 4th Event Special Dreamers. Studio KAI will also be the animation production studio.

The teaser included clips from the previous seasons. It featured the main protagonists of each seasons.
In Season 1, it was Special Week, a horse girl who wanted to become the best racehorse in Japan. In Season 2, it was Toukai Teiou, who is part of the Spica team who is becoming popular in the horse-racing world. Toukai has the goal of becoming a Triple Crown horse girl by winning three races consecutively. Both of these girls exhibit determination of achieving their goals.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby Net Anime
Aside from the 3rd season of the TV anime, the net anime (separate from the TV anime) will be named Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Road to The Top. It is slated to premiere in the spring of 2023. It is going to be produced by CygamesPictures.
The net anime intends to give the spotlight to classic horse girls or Uma Masume like T.M. Opera O, Admire Vega, Narita Top Road, and others as they compete with each other.
Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 2 Recap
Tokai Teiou stood out among Team Spica, the group that has been gaining popularity in the horse race. Tokai is exceptionally talented in running, as well as having a bright personality. This is why she wanted to be a Triple Crown horse girl by winning three G1 races consecutively. However, these can be challenging as the last Triple Crown holder was the legendary Symbolic Rudolf many years ago.
But Tokai is determined and yet, she has to meet obstacles like her old and new rivals. She also has to make decisions that could affect her racing career.
Uma Musume Pretty Derby Video Game
Uma Masume Pretty Derby is a video game for mobile phones created by Cygames. It was set to release last 2018 but it got delayed so that it will get more high quality. It eventually released in February 2021, subsequently releasing a PC version in March 2021.
In the game, the player can become the teacher and trainer for horse girls who will hone their running abilities for a race. These girls have aspirations to become idols, so they wanted to win the national sports entertainment show, “Twinkle Series”. The player is stationed at the Nihon Uma Musume Training Center Gakuen (Japan Horse Girls Training Center Academy) where they will train the girls.
