Attack on Titan has undoubtedly solidified its impact in the anime world. It is one of those anime that became mainstream – and has brought the spotlight onto anime. Hence, a lot of people are now drawn to anime because of its compelling stories.
Jacksonville Jaguars, an American football team from Florida, is no exception to Attack on Titan‘s influence.
Their Twitter account shared the Attack on Titan-inspired photo teasing for their game against the Tennessee Titans in January 8, 2023. It is the finals of the 2022 American Football Conference South Division.
In other words, Jacksonville Jaguars are the Scouts Regiment or Survey Corps battling against the Titans from Tennessee. Very clever!

The photo teaser manly featured Jacksonville Jaguars’ quarterback, Trevor Lawrence facing up against the Tennessee Titans’ Derrick Henry. The TIAA Bank Field is the Jaguars’ home ground, and the Tennessee Titans looming over it is very fitting for Attack on Titan. Whoever conceptualized the idea for the photo teaser is brilliant.

Jacksonville Jaguars’ Victory
What made everything even better is that Jacksonville Jaguars had won against the Tennessee Titans with the score of 20-16. This is their first AFC South Division title since 2017.
Following this win, the team will be hosting either the Los Angeles Chargers or the Baltimore Ravens next week.
Attack on Titan Anime Background
Attack on Titan first aired in April 7, 2013. Seasons 1-3 (Season 3 Part 2 included) are produced by Wit Studio, while Season 4 (Part 1, 2, and 3) are produced by MAPPA. Season 4 Part 3 is slated to premiere in 2023 in NHK channel. Further updates of the premiere date and schedule will be shared by the official website.
Hajime Isayama authored and illustrated Attack on Titan. It is about a young boy, Eren Yeager, whose life changed forever when a Titan broke the walls of his home. He then made it his goal to avenge his home by killing Titans, so he joined the Scouts Regiment or Survey Corps. The Survey Corps are committed to battle against Titans through expeditions beyond the walls. He is joined by his childhood friends, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert.
Throughout his journey in being a Survey Corps soldier, he witnesses a lot of deaths, betrayals, and twists. The mysteries behind the Titans are being uncovered, as well as something about Eren himself. Will he be able to handle the truths? What will he do then?
