Erased is about a young man named Satoru Fujinuma, who is a struggling manga artist. He lives a relatively normal life when he discovers he has the magical ability to turn back time before an accident occurs. At first, it was just mere minutes before the accident that he was able to prevent. This mysterious ability is called the “Revival”. But when his mother got killed, Satoru used this ability to turn back time 18 years ago. The various killings that transpired in his school seemed to be related to his mother’s death. Satoru then turned back into an 11-year-old kid. He then investigates and plans accordingly to prevent his mother’s death in the future and several others as well.
