The Seraphim are new Pacifista units created by the Marines’ Special Science Group to replace the Seven Warlords of the Sea as one of the Three Great Powers. They are living weapons fashioned after the youthful likenesses of former Warlords, but with Lunarian Tribe characteristics.

They are currently stationed at Egghead, the home of their creator, Vegapunk.

The Seraphim units, like the original Bartholomew Kuma-based Pacifistas, are cyborgs created in the image of an existent human; in this case, the units have an eerie likeness to past Warlords of the Sea, albeit at a much younger age and in a much smaller size. During their childhood, S-Hawk and S-Snake, for example, resembled Dracule Mihawk and Boa Hancock, as confirmed by the Gorgon Sisters.

Aside from that, the Pacifista are distinguished by their lunarian-like biology, which includes brown skin, white hair, black wings, and a plume of fire burning on their backs.

They also appear to have been altered to have a lunarian appearance and features, such as the capacity to burn. They grow faster and are imbued with a material called Green Blood, which can be instilled with the lineage factor of a Paramecia-user, allowing that unit to mimic the Devil Fruit skills of the said user. The Seraphim are considered exceedingly expensive to produce due to all of the technology that must be invested in their production and maintenance.

The Seraphim have demonstrated enough strength and expertise to put one of the Four Emperors, Marshall D. Teach, on the defensive after easily beating a slew of his minions. Furthermore, due to their lunarian features, they appear to have tremendous durability, as highlighted by the Gorgon Sisters, who said the Seraphim participated in the siege escaped the island with barely a scratch on their body.

Their youth may also deter adversaries who have misgivings about battling children from attacking them. Helmeppo would eventually deduce that simply dispatching a single Seraphim against the Blackbeard Pirates would be enough to safely rescue the captured Koby.
