It takes a village or more than that to restore human civilization from the stone world. No matter how high Senku Ishigami’s intelligence is, it is not enough for him to rebuild modern civilization just by relying on himself. The young scientist is aware of how many skills and intelligence it requires to save the world from unforeseen petrification. Hence, he founded The Kingdom of Science to bring back both science and technology to the world. Read on to find out who are the other members.

As far as the anime adaptation goes, we have witnessed Senku Ishigami as the first person who got de-petrified. After realizing the science behind his de-petrification, he decided to also do the same thing to his best friend, Taiju Oki. Senku highlighted at the beginning of the series that his goal is to restore humanity because with only him and Taiju being alive, the world would not literally survive.
This goal of his became both the vision and mission of The Kingdom of Science. As the founder of The Kingdom of Science, Senku never forgets to instill this in the minds of all of his members and together they all work to someday fully restore modern civilization and find an answer to the mysterious world petrification.
How was The Kingdom of Science founded?
The Kingdom of Science already existed right after Senku got de-petrified. As a scientist, he started to question how he was freed from petrification. Also, as the first person who got out of the petrification, Senku had to secure his basic necessities, including shelter. He built a tree house and later on built a laboratory near it after awakening his best friend, Taiju.

The tree house is considered to be the first and original base of The Kingdom of Science. However, everything drastically changed when he had to de-petrify Tsukasa Shishio to save themselves from the wild lions. Awakening the strongest high school primate could have been the biggest advantage for Senku’s team. But, Tsukasa and Senku’s differing ideals made their friendship fall apart before it even started.
Tsukasa Shishio choosing violence and cruelty made Senku more eager to save humanity, especially from people like Tsukasa. With Taiju and Yuzuriha being assigned to their own mission, Senku had to build The Kingdom of Science from scratch and it was a good thing that he easily crossed paths with the person who would help him do that.

Right after arriving at the Ishigami Village, Senku met a promising scientist who became one of his greatest allies and friend. Using all the resources that Chrome has gathered in his self-made laboratory, Senku took advantage of all of them by doing some experiments that would benefit them and the others. Tsukasa choosing violence in terms of restoring human civilization has altered the goal of The Kingdom of Science. Before restoring modern civilization, Senku together with his allies from the Ishigami Village worked together to battle Tsukasa’s Empire using the power of science.
Who Are the Members of the Kingdom of Science?
As mentioned above, Senku Ishigami is the founder of The Kingdom of Science. The first three members of the said organization were Taiju, Tsukasa Shisio, and Yuzuriha. However, it, later on, grew in terms of members when Senku decided to rebuild his own empire against Tsukasa and his followers. In the Ishigami Village, Kohaku and Chrome became the first members of The Kingdom of Science. They are the people who first believe in Senku’s intelligence. Despite being ignorant of a lot of things, Kohaku and Chrome believed in Senku and choose to walk the same path as him.

In episode seven of season one, Senku immediately put placed the flag of The Kingdom of Science on top of Chrome’s shed. However, with only Chrome, Senku, Kohaku, and Suika, Senku was determined to recruit more members for The Kingdom of Science. Through the power of science, Senku was able to convince Ginro and Kinro on their side.
His right-hand man, Gen Asagiri, also turned sides after witnessing the brilliance of Senku Ishigami. In episode nine of season one, Gen was still having second thoughts about whether to side with Senku or Tsukasa. However, the scientific ability of Senku to make the presence of electricity possible in the stone world and make Gen a cola drink convinced him otherwise.

Furthermore, while he may have joined the team by force, old man Kaseki also became one of the most vital members of The Kingdom of Science. In episode eleven of season one, Chrome forcefully dragged Kaseki to their base and convinced him to be their craftsman. These people were the first ones who pursued the goal of The Kingdom of Science and helped Senku beat Tsukasa’s Empire.

The Kingdom of Science as a State
With the growing number of its members, the kingdom slowly began in becoming a well-established place very close to becoming a state. Even before the inevitable victory of The Kingdom of Science against Tsukasa’s Empire. Chrome’s simple shed outside the Ishigami Village became the main grounds of The Kingdom of Science.

The main grounds of The Kingdom of Science consist of the following: 1) Chrome’s Storehouse or The Kingdoms Headquarter, 2) The Science Laboratory, 3) The Dynamo, 4) Training Grounds, 5) Ramen Cart, 6) Cooling Kiln and Glass Kiln, and 7) The Irog Forge.
Senku also made a hydroelectric generator and the people of the kingdom gifted him an observatory located at their headquarters. From a small tree house located on the outskirts of the village to a place fully equipped with scientific innovations, Senku, and his allies have proven that his mission and vision may take a while to achieve but it is not impossible.
Their victory during the Stone Wars not only gave them back the miracle cave. But, it also allowed them to expand to the former empire of Tsukasa making it one of their bases. The expansion of the kingdom was also due to the joint forces of manpower of the former Tsukasa and Senku rivalry. This led to the kingdom slowly becoming a state under technocracy or a society with elite technological experts as their government system.

The Kingdom’s Power Team
Intelligence is not the only thing that is needed in the stone world. To drastically change the stone world to the way it was thousands of years ago the brawns are badly needed too. Although Senku possesses above-average intelligence, he is someone that his friends cannot literally rely on especially when it comes to offensive battles. Thus, the kingdom’s power team emerged. The power team of the kingdom science is in charge of the development of the kingdom, such as mining, farming, and other works that require brute strength and mining.

As seen in episode one of season three, Taiju became the leader of the farming division and is assisted by Magma and Yo. Nikki Hanada is also one of their main forces. Kohaku, Ginro, and Kinro are also part of the defense team while Tsukasa Shishio somehow became a team leader after being revived. Homura and Hyoga, later on, join the power team, as well as, other new characters whom they will meet as they travel outside Japan.
The Intelligence Duo of the Kingdom
The intelligence team is probably the one with the smallest members among all sub-functions of the kingdom. Minami Hokutozai, a former reporter of modern civilization, carried her exceptional skills in the stone world. She is accompanied in this team by the adorable Suika who also has great potential in terms of being a detective. Together they gather all the pieces of information needed for the kingdom’s benefit and relay it to the five wise commanders.

Craftmanship and Development Team
All the plans are made possible by this team. Without the abilities of these people, all the planning would have gone to waste. This sector of the kingdom consists of five people, including Senku, and those who are excellent at creating and handling certain materials. For this team, we have Senku, Kaseki, Chrome, Ryusui, and Yuzuriha. Each of them has their responsibility too.
For instance, Ryusui is in charge of the development and piloting of the ship. Yuzuriha is assigned to create loads of clothes because of her unbelievable and fast sewing skills. On the other hand, Kaseki is the main craftsman of the kingdom and is often assisted by Senku and Chrome. Suika, later on, joins this team after the New Stone World Arc under the supervision of Senku.
