February will not only be the season of love for Boruto fans, but it will surely be the month for Attack Code Arc. Boruto fans will soon receive an award for their unending patience. The most awaited Code Arc of the series will get reanimated sooner than you think.
Fans can’t help but wonder when they will see Code in live action. Well, the wait is almost over.
The Kawaki Arc gave a glimpse into who and how powerful Code is. However, fans crave more action because of the recent happenings in the Boruto manga.
In the manga, Code Arc is originally preceded by the Kawaki Arc. However, Masashi Kishimoto may have thought that fans need to practice more patience. That being said, the Sasuke Retsuden Arc entered the Boruto anime this January.
However, in the recent JUMP FEST 2023, three iconic Japanese voice actors, Boruto (Yuko Sanpei), Naruto (Junko Takeuchi), and Sasuke (Noriaki Sugiyama) from the Naruto and Boruto series announced (3) three news that hype up the fans.
One of the news shared with fans is that the Code Arc will enter the Boruto anime no later than February 2023. Attack Code Arc begins in chapter 56 of the Boruto Manga; however, fans saw Code in earlier chapters and episodes in the Boruto series.

In chapter 15 of the Boruto manga, we get to see him and find out that he is an inner Kara member. This happened following Shojoji’s defeat against Boruto’s High Compression Rasengan. In connection, his first appearance in the anime adaptation is when the leader of Kara, Jigen, calls out all the members for a meeting regarding the missing vessel – Kawaki.

Before becoming a Kara member, Code was known to be one of the fifteen candidates to become Isshiki Otsutsuki’s vessel. However, the Karma experiment did not turn out well for Code. Like other unsuccessful vessel candidates, Code experienced the negative effects of the Otsutsuki ritual. His body was experiencing shaking and spasms, which made Kawaki the perfect Karma vessel.

Kawaki being the chosen Karma vessel, made Code hate him. He even told Kawaki that he would kill him without hesitation if only he was not the chosen vessel. So, imagine Code’s hatred growing deeper, especially when Kawaki became an enemy-turned-ally of the Konoha.
The True Strength of Code
Fans have been waiting for the Attack Code Arc for quite some time now. Hence, it is no longer a secret: it is jam-packed with spectacular worth waiting for action scenes. As mentioned Code is part of the antagonistic organization of the Boruto series called Kara.
The Kara organization has two divisions, the Inners and Outers. The inner Kara members are known to have higher authority than the other members. Jigen (Leader of Kara) and Kashin Koji (Clone of the Legendary Sannin, Jiraiya) are also Inners just like Code.

After the defeat of Isshiki Otsutsuki against Naruto’s Baryon Mode. Isshiki’s most loyal servant, Code, started to move according to his leader’s plan as his successor. With a body that went under major scientific modifications under the care of the skilled scientist, Amado, we can say that Code has the power to continue his leader’s legacy.
However, what most fans do not know is how strong he truly is. Unlike other Kara members who went through Amado’s scientific modifications to enhance their abilities. Amado modified Code’s body in order to suppress his true strength and not subjugate Isshiki’s authority.
Aside from a scientifically modified body, the highly anticipated villain in the Boruto series also possessed a very unique Karma. Just like Kawaki and Boruto’s seal, but completely different. Not making sense?
Well, Kawaki and Boruto had a karma seal which prepares them to be an Otsutsuki vessel in the future, and their seals are black. On the other hand, Code inherited a white non-vessel karma seal.

What to Expect in Attack Code Arc?
If you thought Naruto’s final fight with Isshiki is the best. Well, I wouldn’t be so sure if were you! Code might be the greatest threat that Konoha and its people will ever have to face because Isshiki’s last words to Code proved that he truly wields power like no other.
Isshiki Otsutsuki’s last words to CodeThe non-vessel white Karma seal… that is my legacy dwelling within you in the form of pure power.
My one and only successor, with that Karma you shall inherit the Will of the Otsutsuki.
The Code Arc in Boruto manga starts in chapter 56 and is still ongoing. It was revealed in the recent chapters that Code strengthens his force by freeing Eida, who imposed the same amount of threat as him, as well as her brother. Hence, the Boruto forces might have to prepare themselves for a much greater battle because these people are no joke.
The most-awaited Code Arc of the Boruto series was announced to premiere this February 12, 2023, as Sasuke Retsude Arc reached its final episode last February 05, 2023.
Fans cannot wait to see the said arc because up until now, the extent of his white karma seal is still unknown. With Code freeing himself from his limiters, the Code Arc anime adaptation will surely not disappoint.
