The Dr. Stone series may not fall under the romance genre. However, it has been shown that the series can also provide fans with a lot of potential couples. Yes, Senku Ishigami is not an exception to that. The main protagonist’s first love might be his passion for science but fans refused to believe that it is also his great love. Many fans are hoping that when Senku is done saving the world he will end up with somebody someday. Hence, we made a short list of the probable women fit for him.
From the beginning of the series, Senku has worked non-stop in inventing and planning in the name of science. However, even with his busy schedule due to all the inventions that are lined up for him to make. Fans cannot help but ship him with all the worthy and probable women for the young scientist.
As the man who will lead the restoration of modern civilization, Senku Ishigami also deserves a reward like medals and possibly a great woman in his life. He is someone who needs a happy ending not just as a scientist but as a man. In the Dr. Stone original manga and anime adaptation, five women have secured the spot of being so close to Senku Ishigami, be it romantically or non-romantically speaking.

Who are the Women in Senku’s Life?
There are five women who managed to secure a spot in Senku’s life despite his undying love for science. These women have lent him a hand, saved him, and treated him as a friend. Senku might not be a hopeful romanticist like his father.
But, he sure knows how to treat a lady right and how to cherish his friendships with them making the girls never leaving his side. The relationships he has with these women end up with a lot of theories from fans. Let’s see who among them is the best candidate for you!
1. Yuzuriha Ogawa
Yuzuriha and Senku have a tight relationship. Among all the women in his life, Yuzuriha might be the person who knew Senku the longest. Yuzuriha and Senku attended the same high school together with Taiju Oki. These three were able to maintain their friendship even after the world’s petrification. However, it is not Senku who was meant to be with Yuzuriha.
At the beginning of the Dr. Stone series, we were able to witness Taiju mustering up all of his courage to finally confess to his crush, Yuzuriha. We can also see Senku by the school window looking out while these two future lovers had their moment. Unfortunately, all the confession was delayed because of the petrification. But, in the post-finale of the original manga, Yuzuriha and Taiju were able to tie the knot and had a two-day wedding to accommodate all of their friends.
Yuzuriha might have been a possible suited love interest for Senku, but she is so much better with Taiju. Besides, Yuzuriha knows Senku by heart because of all the years they have known each other. They trust each other and always have each other’s back like how most friends are.
2. Kohaku
If there is someone among all the women who could top Yuzuriha and Senku’s bond, it would probably be Kohaku. Kohaku is the girl behind Senku successfully finding the village that his father named after them, the Ishigami Village. Ever since Kohaku and Senku crossed paths, they have been inseparable. This led to fans speculating about the possible bloom of romance between the two. The way they teased and care for each other just gives off those cliche romance tropes that we love to see in romance anime.
The moment Kohaku has seen Senku sacrificing his life for Yuzurha and his immaculate intelligence in science, she never stopped admiring him and has stood by him since then. Kohaku has also expressed the possibility of liking Senku and finding him attractive in some episodes in season one of the series.

When the connection of Senku to the people of the Ishigami Village was revealed. Kohaku was the first person who got all flustered just by the thought of being connected to Senku by blood. The Senhaku fans, therefore, ask why? If there is nothing more than just friendship, why be flustered right? However, Kohaku made it clear that these remarks were to be taken platonically.
Despite just being friends, the two also shared a kiss in Chapter 107 of the original manga to trick their enemy. But instead of butterflies in their stomachs, Senku was caught off guard while Kohaku acted like it was nothing. For her, it was just a kiss nothing more, nothing less. Maybe romance is not yet in their mind at the moment. Kohaku and Senku are both very much focused on their goals which are to save humanity and find the root cause of world petrification.
3. Ruri
To start off, Ruri will never end up with Senku because she is already meant for another character in the series. It is not Senku who ends up Ruri but his right-hand man, Chrome. Chrome and Ruri have always shared a special bond since they were young. In the post-finale of the Dr. Stone original manga, Chrome has already secured her bride for they are already engaged.
Chrome proposed to Ruri in the middle of the wedding of Yuzuriha and Taiju. Although she was very flustered, she accepted his proposal because they do share the same feeling ever since, but Chrome was just too busy with all the science stuff he needed to do. Even though Ruri will already be tying the knot with Chrome soon, she is still one of the women in Senku’s life.
Ruri or the Ishigami Village Priestess is the first woman that had an official status in Senku’s life. No, not as his friend but as his wife. The Grand Bout is held once per generation to determine the next village chief and the husband of the current priestess. The Kingdom of Science took part in the tournament. Senku managed to win by sheer luck and become their village chief. Hence, to be able to give Ruri the all-cure drug, Senku became his husband for a few days as they perfected the antibiotic. However, he immediately divorced her when she was already cured.
4. Nikki Hanada
She is one of the few female members of Tsukasa’s former empire. Nikki Hanada is described as a physically fit woman who is known for her brute strength and undying devotion to the famous singer, Lillian Weinberg. Nikki was assigned to monitor the movements of Yuzuriha and Taiju who were living in the empire of Tsukasa. She follows them secretly and makes sure that they are not making any connections to Senku or his allies.
The trickery of Gen pretending to be Lillian Weinberg might have not worked on Nikki. However, taking the honest route made her join The Kingdom of Science. Senku Ishigami promised her that the legacy of Lillian Weinberg through her one last song will be protected by their kingdom. This made Nikki more than happy to accept the alliance offered by Gen and Senku.
Nikki even admitted to have fallen in love for Senku because of it which led to the young scientist feeling uncomfortable saying, “No. Seriously, don’t.” Aside from these, Senku and Nikki haven’t had much interaction in the series. All we know is that Nikki has been given a vital role in the kingdom as one of the members of the power team who maintains discipline among everyone, specifically with Magma and Yo.
4. Luna Wright
Luna Wright is an American who will eventually join the gang in Dr. Stone‘s anime adaptation. She is a former resident of the American Colony and used to be a medical student before the petrification happened. Luna Wright revealed in the original manga that her ideal man is someone who is hardworking and at the same with great intelligence. Familiar? Well, Luna Wright’s standards did not disappoint her because she was able to cross paths with one of the most intelligent men on the planet and even convinced him to be her boyfriend.
Senku agreed in being Wright’s boyfriend, but only for political reasons. So technically, they weren’t together for love or any sort of affection. It was completely one-sided and definitely an unrequited love. Luna and Senku’s relationship was only to strengthen the manpower of the kingdom. However, not once did Senku give Luna false hope and he would never forget to compliment her just like the others when she contributes to the kingdom’s benefit.

In conclusion, Senku is and might always be disinterested when it comes to love. I mean, not everyone is looking for a lover to be honest and the brilliant scientist is clearly one of those people. The original manga already ended and Senku did not end up with any of these women. Even a fan shared on Twitter that Senku having a love interest is a punch to the moon.
Unless Riichiro Inagaki will make another manga that revolves around the more personal life of Senku then love will never be something that our passionate scientist will ever prioritize. Senku is too dedicated and devoted to the power of science and hasn’t shown any interest in women or finding a girlfriend all throughout the series.
Sadly, fans do not have anything to speculate for this one because the man himself does not want to be romantically involved with anyone. The only possible way to find out how each ship sailed is left for fans to imagine according to their own preference. All in all Senku’s first and great love is none other than science and no woman can ever change that.
