If you’re a fan of the series Parallel World Pharmacy (Isekai Yakkyoku) , you might have already noticed that the series’ main protagonist, Falma de Medicis doesn’t cast a shadow.
But why doesn’t Falma have a shadow? Is he an evil spirit possessing a human body? Is he a monster? Curious?
Well, the answer to your question is simpler than you think.

Falma doesn’t have a shadow because he is no longer entirely human. He is the host of Panactheos, the God of Medicine. These are all evidenced by the Holy Mark on his right shoulder in the shape of a Lichtenberg figure, being able to cast spells without chanting, having a limitless amount of magical energy, and having no shadow.
Does Falma Regain His Shadow?
Ever since Ellen found out about him not casting a shadow, Falma has been bothered by the fact and has been trying his best to keep it a secret.
Falma gets a shadow with the help of a talisman that can suppress Divine Power. Salomon, the Chief Priest of the Church gives him the talisman to help conceal the fact that he doesn’t have a shadow which made Falma happier than getting the Medicine God’s wand.
