What is Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion about?
Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion started as a web novel by Milcha that became popular in South Korea. Its original title is 그녀가 공작저로 가야 했던 사정, romanized: Geunyeoga Gongjagjeolo Gaya Haessdeon Sajeong. On September 19, 2016, it was serialized in Kakao’s digital comic and fiction platform KakaoPage. The novel has 159 chapters and is collected in 3 volumes with 1 side story book. A webtoon adaptation was first serialized on September 3, 2017, on KakaoPage with illustrations by Whale. Tappytoon publishes both the novel and manhwa digitally in English and in print in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten.
Yen Press publishes the manhwa in English and describes the story:
Eunha Park was just a regular girl desperate to get into college, but when she finally does, her elation is cut short as she’s pushed off a roof—only to wake up as Raeliana McMillan, a character from a novel whose death serves as the catalyst for the story’s events. But Raeliana refuses to die a second time and is determined to change her fate, no matter what!
