After the events of Water 7 and Enies Lobby Arcs , many fans have speculated that sooner or later Nico Robin, the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates, might once again betray the crew. This intensified when it was revealed that CP0’s Rob Lucci was once again seen in Wano while the infiltration of Onigashima was on-going.
However, the real question remains. Will Nico Robin once again betray Luffy and the crew? The answer to that is No, she will not.
Robin is the calmest member of the Straw Hat Pirates, and he is rarely seen acting inappropriately. She respects Luffy more than the rest of the crew, even when he acts rashly, to the point that she laughs at his pranks. She, along with Zoro, is one of the members that wholeheartedly supports Luffy’s decisions.
Nico Robin is frequently reading and researching data from the sites they visit while the team is traveling. In everything, she is intelligent and patient. Robin does not have a definite position on the ship, but she can predict what can be discovered there, which (in her words) benefits others. Luffy treats her as a very intelligent member of the crew.

Aside from the fact that Robin’s respect for Luffy reaches the heavens, she also holds him as a dear friend. Nico Robin has a pretty tragic past. She was always treated as a devil child because of her devil fruit abilities. Despite having the most beautiful devil fruit of all (arguably), she was treated like a clown. Her home was burnt because they inherited the important skill of reading a poneglyph, she never got to be with her mother, and she never had any real friends.
When she met the Straw Hats, they were skeptic of her, and she understood that. But when Luffy encouraged her in Enies Lobby to have the will to live for herself, she wholeheartedly devoted her life to protecting them and keeping them close because they were the friends the vast ocean had brought to her, and she had no plans on betraying them.
Robin may appear cold at times, but that’s because she had to grow up too fast. That, however, doesn’t take away the fact that she will always be loyal to the crew.
