Manga artist Yo Asami will release a manga adaptation of Natsu Hyūga‘s You Can’t Lie to a Saint (Seijo ni Uso wa Tsūjinai ) novel which will debut on March 6 in the April edition of Kodansha‘s Monthly Shonen Magazine, according to an article published in the magazine’s March issue. Hyūga also revealed the novel’s manga adaptation on Twitter.

The story revolves around the life of a young female priestess and a rogue holy knight. Together they will investigate the murder of a shrine maiden candidate for the great church together to learn the real reason why she was killed.
You Can’t Lie to a Saint was published in May 2022 under Frontier Work’s Arian Rose label with artwork by Chiho Shinishi. Shinishi is also credited for creating the original character designs for the manga. In 2011, Hyūga released their light novel book The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) on the Let’s Be Novelists! website. Shufunotomo is printing the novels with illustrations by Touko Shino, and the 12th volume had its debut print in July 2022. The novels are published by J-Novel Club digitally.

In May 2017, Nekokurage debuted the manga adaptation of the books in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan publication. Square Enix will release the manga’s 11th volume on February 25. Square Enix Manga & Books will release the 8th volume in English on June 6.
In August 17, 2017, Minoji Kurata released the spinoff manga The Apothecary Diaries ~The Palace Cloister Mystery-Solving Notebook of Mao Mao~ (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto ~Mao Mao no Kōkyū Nazotoki Techō~) in Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday GX magazine. Shugakukan released the 15th volume of the spinoff manga in November 2022.
In June 2017, Asami published the manga adaptation of Takaya Kagami’s Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose – Catastrophe at 16 (Owari no Seraph: Ichinose Guren, 16-sai no Catastrophe) light novel series in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine. In February 2022, the show came to an end. Additionally, Asami created the artwork for Kagami’s Seraph of the End: Guren Ichinose: Resurrection at 19 (Owari no Seraph: Ichinose Guren, 19-sai no Resurrection) light novels.
