Naoshi Arakawa the famous author of the much-beloved series, Your Lie in April (Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso) announced on his Twitter that he is working on a new manga series entitled Atwight Game (Note: Unofficial romanization).
A preview of the series will be in the 43rd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on September 21. Arakawa has yet to reveal details about his new series; however, he posted a sneak peek of the manga’s main protagonist.

Arakawa’s phenomenal hit Your Lie in April (Shigatsu no Kimi no Uso) debuted in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2011 and the series ended in February 2015. Kodansha published the manga’s final compiled 11th volume in Japan in May 2015. Kodansha Comics released the manga in English.
A-1 Pictures adapted the series into a 22-episode anime that was aired on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block from October 2014 to March 2015 and an OVA episode was released on May 2015 by Aniplex of America. A live-action movie of the same name premiered in Japan on September 10, 2016. It starred Kento Yamazaki as Kosei Arima and Suzu Hirose as Kaori Miyazono.

Arakawa’s most recent work, Farewell, My Dear Cramer (Sayanora Watashi no Cramer), manga is a sequel to his earlier work Sayonara, Football a two-volume manga. Farewell, My Dear Cramer was launched in May 2016 in Monthly Shonen Magazine and ended in December 2020 with 14 volumes. Kodansha Comics which releases the manga in print also released the manga digitally, simultaneously with its Japanese release.
Both Sayonara, Football, and Farewell, My Dear Cramer inspired an anime movie and a tv anime adaptation. Farewell, My Dear Cramer premiered in April 20221, while the movie Sayonara Watashi no Cramer First Touch, the anime film adapting Sayonara Football, opened in June 2021.
