Black Clover Story

Black Clover is centered around an orphaned boy named Asta who is friends with a fellow orphan, Yuno. They were raised together, so they shared the same goal: to become the most powerful wizard in the kingdom or a “Wizard King”. However, they are also rivals because Yuno has magical abilities he can use and control, while Asta has none. Asta then spent his time training physically so he can have magical powers as well.

Yuno was then given a Grimoire, a special book to enhance the magical wielder’s abilities. It has a four-leaf clover. Asta was also unfortunate of not receiving one. Having a Grimoire has its disadvantages however – as Yuno was attacked by someone named Lebuty who wanted to have the Grimoire to themselves. Asta then fought with Lebuty, and it is only when Asta channeled his inner rage and emotions that he was gifted with a five-leaf Grimoire, “Black Clover”. This gave him the upper hand over Lebuty.
