After the events of Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 2, it has been an ongoing discussion in the fandom about whether Gojo Satoru, the strongest character in the series, can defeat Sukuna, the evil and most powerful curse.
The answer, as already stated by Gege Akutami, the mangaka of Jujutsu Kaisen, is that although Gojo definitely is the strongest, there is a limitation to his power, however, this does not mean that Gojo can be defeated by Sukuna. But this is where it gets exciting.
In the second episode of Jujutsu Kaisen, Gojo challenges Sukuna, through his vessel, Itadori Yuuji, to a duel. In the fight, if it even is called a fight, we can see how strong Gojo actually is compared to the just awakened curse.

Gojo then explains to Itadori that the curse inside him gets stronger every day. To those who are not aware of it yet, Itadori Yuuji is Sukuna’s vessel. He acquired the Sukuna’s curse because he decided to eat Sukuna’s finger in order to save Megumi who was facing a rather difficult situation fighting with one of the curses in their school.
After finding out what had happened, Gojo imprisoned Itadori in a cell and explained to him how dangerous being Sukuna’s Vessel was, and, whatever the outcome, whether Itadori chooses to be good or not, he will eventually still end up dead.
Agreeing to the terms Gojo has presented to him, Itadori agreed on being trained as a sorcerer or a Jujutsu. When he finds all of the twenty cursed fingers of Sukuna and eats them, then he will be executed and killed. But in the meantime, he will spend his years training to exorcise courses in the Tokyo Jujutsu High School of Sorcery.
When, and if, Itadori acquires all the 20 fingers of Sukuna, Gojo would probably challenge him to a duel again. When that happens, because they now have evenly matched strength and power, it is uncertain who will win.
