On Saturday, the 10th of September 2022, Kadokawa revealed the full promotional video for the Television anime adaptation of Taichi Kawazoe’s Futoku no Guild (Guild of Depravity) manga. It is revealed in the promotional video that the anime adaptation will premiere on AT-X and Tokyo MX on the 5th of October, 2022. It will also air on TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11

The story follows a hunter who goes by Kikuru Madan. He decides to retire from his job as he was afraid that he was wasting his youth. One day, a staff member of the guild suggested he should go on a quest with a new female martial artist named Hitamu Kyan. But this journey was far from what he had envisioned.
Along with the promotional video and the announcement of the television anime’s premiere, Kadokawa also revealed a new key visual for the upcoming series:

- Katsumi Fukuhara (the voice of Toya Mochizuki from In Another World With my Smartphone) as Kikuru Madan
- Carin Isobe (the voice of Mio Natsume from Just Because!) as Hitamu Kyan
- Ayano Shibuya (the voice of Freya from Redo of Healer) as Maidena Angers
- Yo Taichi (the voice of Hiro Soma from Fruits Basket) as Tokishikko Dana
- Yuna Kamakura (the voice of Ranze Nanahoshi from Yu-Gi-Oh!) as Hanabata Nohkins
- Saho Shirasu (the voice of Mio Kofune from Summer Time Rendering) as Noma Rune
- Rumi Okubo (the voice of Miri Yobami from Kakegurui) as Enome
- Yuyu Shoji as Eshune
The director of the anime adaptation is Taluya Asaoka at TNK. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is handling the series composition, and Hiraku Kaneko will be designing the characters. Sayaka Sasaki is set to perform the opening theme song “Never the Fever!!” and Minami Kuribayashi will perform the ending theme song “Sugar Sugar Spice.”
Kawazoe first launched the manga in Square Enix’s Shonen Gangan Magazine last June of 2019, and the same publication will publish the manga’s 10th compiled book volume on the 12th of September.
