Guilty, a manga authored by Ai Okaue, will be ending in the 13th volume according to Anime News Network. The 12th volume was digitally released early by Manga Kingdom this August and is available for advance delivery. It contains the latest 5 episodes of the manga – amounting to 60 episodes overall.
BE LOVE, the publication magazine under Manga Kingdom, tweeted about the early release of the 12th volume:
It is worth mentioning that Guilty has already reached its final arc in its 46th chapter that was released in April 2021. It is no surprise that the story will end soon.
Guilty is about a 35-year-old woman, Sayaka, who is married to a man for 10 years. Her husband is perfect and gentle, but he does not want to have children. Sayaka, on the other hand, wanted to have children badly. Unfortunately, she was unable to admit it to her husband. She instead lets all of her frustrations out to a younger friend, Rui, at a bar. They easily trusted each other; comfortable enough to tell each other everything. Yet both Sayaka and Rui are harboring secrets about each other.

Ai Okaue began the manga in 2017 in the Manga Kingdom website. The distribution of the manga imprint started in 2018 by Kodansha Comic Plus. As of now, 11 volumes of the manga are available in print. It is also ranked one of the top preferences in Manga Kingdom, ranking number 2.
The USA branch of Kodansha licensed the manga to be published in English in 2019 – with the volumes available digitally. 10 volumes are currently released as e-books in the official website of Kodansha USA.
Guilty also inspired a live-action series in 2020 that was produced by Yomiuri TV. Yua Shinkawa played the main character, Sayaka Ogino. Teppei Koike was cast as her husband, Kazuma Ogino; while Yurika Nakamura played Rui Oikawa. It aired 10 episodes from April 2-August 6, 2020.
