A new key visual and trailer for the Ragna Crimson anime adaptation were unveiled today. The anime will debut on September 30 with a one-hour special episode. On September 2, a special screening of the anime will take place at Shinjuku Piccadilly. The trailer features the opening theme song “ROAR” by ulma sound junction.

“Dragon Hunters” use their silver swords to hunt dragons to make a living.
Ragna, a starting out hunter buddies with Leonica, a genius dragon hunter with a tremendous score, to battle dragons every day.
Ragna has only one wish — “I wouldn’t complain if can’t become strong. I just want to be with Leo.”
But his small wish is brutally shattered by an attack of a “superior dragon,” a being much stronger than any dragon they had fought with.

Ragna Crimson is an anime adaptation of the manga by Daiki Kobayashi. The director of the anime is Ken Takahashi, who works with studio SILVER LINK. Deko Akao, who also wrote the series composition for The Dungeon of Black Company, is in charge of the series composition for Ragna Crimson. The character designs are done by Shinpei Aoki, who was the creature designer for Wise Man’s Grandchild. The music composer is Koji Fujimoto, who also composed the music for The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!.
