Thanks to you, “Goddess Cafe Terrace” has exceeded 1 million comics.
Thank you!
The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses manga serves as the latest addition to Seo’s list of successful series that have successfully surpassed one million number of copies in print worldwide. His other popular work, Suzuka, was reported to have hit over 5 million copies in print since its release, while his 2014 work, Fuuka, now has over 2 million printed copies distributed across the globe.
The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses is a romantic comedy serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. Kodansha USA Publishing, the manga’s publisher in English, describes the story as such:
When Hayato’s grandmother passed, he planned to sell her rundown café on the shore—not realizing that it was also home to five young women who call themselves her family?! Their desperation to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a shot…but even their best intentions might not be enough to make it work! And can he even work with these five unruly women? No matter what, he’s got his work cut out for him! A fun new romcom by the author of Fuuka and Suzuka!
A TV anime adaptation of the series is currently on the works and is scheduled to premiere on April 7, 2023 in Japan. Satoshi Kuwabara (The Quintessential Quintuplets) is directing the anime at Tezuka Productions, with Keiichirō Ōchi (The Quintessential Quintuplets) as the script writer. Masatsune Noguchi (My Home Hero) will serve as the character designer, while Shu Kanematsu (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) and Miki Sakurai (The Quintessential Quintuplets) will compose the series’ music.
