Slam Dunk Synopsis
Hanamichi Sakuragi hopes to finally get a girlfriend once he enrolled in Shohoku High. He wanted to break the pattern of girls rejecting him 50 times. However, he is rather infamous for his temper, massive height, and red hair.
He is avoided by a lot of students, hence he became so smitten to Haruko Akagi because the latter approached him first. She asked him if he likes to play basketball. Despite his aversion to basketball, Sakuragi proceeded to show her the slam dunk at her request. Yet, he overshoots, and slammed his head against the blackboard.
Haruko then informed the basketball captain of Sakuragi’s abilities, and eventually, Sakuragi starts to appreciate basketball even more.
