What is The Kingdoms of Ruin all about?
Humanity has always flourished with the help of witches and magic. However, this all came to an end when the Redia Empire launched a witch hunt – in order to liberate the world from witches and magic. This is because the Scientific Gear Expansion declared the witches and their powers as outdated.
Unfortunately, the witch whom Adonis is apprenticed to, got in harm’s way. This led Adonis to swore revenge against the empire and hone his wizard’s powers. Despite being a human himself, Adonis harbors resentment against humans.
