The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent (Seijo no Maryokyu wa Bannou Desu!) returns with a second season as Kadokawa released a new teaser trailer and teaser visual for the series.  The anime is set to premiere in 2023 with a returning cast and new some new staff.

The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent started as a light novel written by Yuka Tachibana and illustrated by Yasuyuki Syuri.  It was first serialized online on the user-generated novel publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016 and was later acquired by Fujimi Shobo who published eight volumes of the novel in February 2017 under their Kadokawa Books imprint.

Since July 2017, a manga adaptation with art by Fujiaziki has been serialized online through Kadokawa’s Shoten ComicWalker website and has been compiled in seven tankobon volumes.

Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed both the light novel and manga in North America.  A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by Diomedea aired from April to June 2021.

Undeterred by her new circumstances, Sei follows her own devices and sets her goal to become a researcher at the Medicinal Flora Research Institute of the kingdom.  She later realizes that whatever potion or food she makes is 1.5 more effective than everyone else’s, revealing her aptitude as a Saint.

The second season of The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent hopefully addresses the palpable tension between Sei and the handsome knight commander, Hawke.
