The newest popular Japanese manga to be adapted into an anime series is Romantic Killer, which offers a unique and amusing take on classic romantic shojo cliches. In the series, the question as to who Anzu ends up with in the end actually still remains unanswered.
Romantic Killer The series follows Anzu, a laid-back gamer whose life is turned upside down when Riri appears on the scene. Anzu must live out a real-life dating sim and deal with a slew of prospective new love interests and scenarios produced by Riri’s magic, free of the distractions of her hobbies, which have all been taken by Riri.
Throughout the story, Anzu and Riri constantly dispute over their opposing viewpoints on romance, and Anzu consistently attempts to outwit the magician and avoid the temptation.

The basic plot of Romantic Killer is Anzu’s reluctant desire to suffer a variety of different romantic circumstances, and the series manages to keep you guessing about who she might end up with throughout.
By the end of season one, Anzu is still unmarried but has built an especially close bond with Tsukasa, who admits to her other potential partner, Junta, that he likes Anzu as more than a friend.
Throughout the series, despite Anzu’s resolute refusal to fall in love with anybody, it is difficult to deny that she has chemistry with all three of her possible suitors. Tsukasa is the most open, opening up to Anzu about his past trauma and why he sometimes come out as standoffish.
The question of whether Anzu will choose Tsukasa, Junta, Hijiri, or someone else remains unresolved, leaving the door open for a second season.
While there has been no official confirmation, the conclusion of Romantic Killer left the door open for a second season. With all four volumes of the manga covered in the first season, there are no suggestions about what the following season would cover if it is given a go signal
